Abstrak: Kompetensi komunikatif adalah kemampuan sesorang dalam berkomunikasi sesuai dengan topik, daerah, bidang sampai dengan sapa lawan bicara. Kompetensi komunikatif meliputi pengetahuan yang penutur-pendengar miliki tentang apa yang mendasari perilaku bahasa atau perilaku tutur yang tepat dan benar, dan tentang apa yang membentuk perilaku bahasa yang efektif.

Kata Kunci: Kompetensi komunkatif, pengetahuan.

Abstract: Communicative competence is a person's ability to communicate in accordance with the topic, area, field up to greet the other person.
